Anna Leikovic, 21, from Comrat, Moldova, allegedly killed her mother
40-year-old Praskovya Leikovic by slitting her heart out of her chest.
An Instagram wannabe has been detained on suspicion of killing her mother by cutting out her heart and other organs while she was still alive.
It was reported that the suspect, a 21 year old medical student, gouged out the internal organs including her lungs and intestines with a kitchen knife.
After brutally murdering her mother, Anna Leikovic then calmly took a shower and went to meet her boyfriend.
It is alleged that the suspect initially stabbed her 40 year old mother Praskovya with a kitchen knife and then cut out the heart while she was still alive.
'It is hard to believe but she cut out the heart in the most literal sense of the word.'
The medical student with 9,400 Instagram followers appeared not to be remorseful as she appeared in court after being detained.
A video showed Anna lying down in the dock, cleaning her nails, then stand on a bench when the judge came into the court.
When a journalist asked her if she had killed and mutilated her mother she laughed and replied: 'Goodbye.'
Reports say that the suspect's mother had come home from working in Germany and believed her daughter was on drugs.
She had arranged treatment for Anna who became angry. But her uncle Vladimir denied that the trainee medic had been put in rehab.
The uncle said: 'This was a very good family. Praskovya loved her daughter so much, and she spent as much time with her as she could.
'It took two hours for the police to tell me that Anna is the main suspect, Vladimir said. I could not even imagine this.
Her Mother Praskovya :
Police spokeswoman Lyubov Yanak said: 'The detainee is the main suspect.
'There is no likelihood of other suspects. A thorough investigation is required to clarify the motive for the murder.'
